Happy Birthday Henry!!!

I made this cute little card for my Godson's 11th birthday.  I used Create a Critter 2 and Creative Cards Cricut carttridges. The patterned paper is from LOTV Candles & Cake 8x8 paper pad. I used MFT smooth white and steel grey cardstocks. The bottom of the party hat is a small piece of tinsel ribbon.  I added faux white stitching around the banner, but I can't find a photo with the stitching.  LOL  :)

We had a great time at Henry's family birthday party!!!  Star Wars Lego is always a hit for both the lttle and big kids.  ;)

I have entered this card in Seize the Birthday’s Anything Goes Challenge.

Have a great day,
Caroline  :)

Happy Birthday Emma!!!

I made this card for my Goddaughter who turned 9 years old this month.  Sorry, I didn't take a great photo with my phone.  I've been having fun using dies again.  I used the Simon Says Stamps Circle Friends stamps set and coordinating tri circle die.  The banner is Simon Says Stamps String of Hearts, and I covered two of the hearts with My Creative Time stitched buttons (love the stitched button dies!!!).  I added a little bit of sparkle with my Zig Wink of Stella clear brush tip marker.  I embossed MFT Sweet Tooth cardstock with Sizzix Hearts embossing folder and then inked the hearts with Stampin' Up Blushing Bride ink.  The patterned paper is from Basic Grey Kneehighs 6x6 paper pad.

It's a beautiful, sunny morning here.
Take care,
Caroline  :)

Happy Birthday Mum!!!

I'm loving Lawn Fawn stamps and paper and My Creative Time dies! My Mum loves to feed the birds and squirrels in her backyard, so when I first saw these Lawn Fawn stamps, I knew that I had to use them for a card for her.

I entered this card in the Anything Goes challenge at the Simon Says Stamps Challenge Blog.

Have a great day!!!
Caroline :)

Tim Holtz April Tag

I made this tag while attending the "Giving a Scrap About Autism" crop today. I had a lot of fun at this great event and used my Tim Holtz Distress Paints for the first time.

Take care,
Caroline :)

Congratulations Stephanie!!!

Stephanie recently received a promotion to Assistant Manager at the hotel.  A woo hoo and about time!!! Tee hee hee  :)  I made this card during a fun and relaxing scrapbooking day with a bunch of great ladies.

I'm currently taking Clean and Simple Card Making 2 at Online Card Classes.  I used the sketch from Day 1 and the gradient stamping technique taught by Jennifer McGuire on Day 3.  After seeing the technique, I search through my stamps and realized that I didn't have any multiple level stamps. I used a border stamp from CTMH Togetherness and 3 Stampin' Up inks.  The sentiment is from CTMH Cricut Artiste Collection Kudos.  Clean and simple cards are not my normal style, so I'm dying to add something else to this card.  Thank you to Donna for the scalloped border suggestion.  I may add ribbon or pearls or sparkle or . . .

Have a great week,
Caroline  :)

P.S.  So, I decided to add pearls.  I'm happier with the card now.  :)
